SEO is an optional extra that costs £27 per hour. SEO is really about presenting your website in the best way to the human visitors and search engines robots.

A simple example below, searches for Plastering in red and Plasterer in blue. The dip at the end of the graph is for the Christmas break at year end.

Plasterer or Plastering?

Using the best key words on your website will make a difference. In this case, UK wide about 3½ times more searches are made for plastering than plasterer. Search engines often consider synonyms or equivalent terms but exact matches are the best option.

Regional search terms for Wales, Scotland, England and Northern Ireland can be significantly different too. If your website is mainly based in one region, its worth while making sure you get the right terms for your region.
